Getting the Best Value
Your Company can now maximize the return of capital through a process that matches what the times demand, a source that allows you to maximize return on resale in the network equipment re-use market as well as one that can maximize your return in the recycling industry in an environmentally conscious way.
Unicom Asset Recovery, LLC. Is dedicated to maximizing companies return on de-installed and surplus network equipment. We understand the operational challenges that face today’s service provider, manufacturer and businesses. We offer our clients maximized recovery of capital through a four step process. We recover capital through equipment re-marketing, board level component recovery and re-marketing, recovery of (precious) metals from board level electronic scrap, and recovery of base metal scrap. We aim to give our customers the best overall value, which includes monetary return, environmental performance, accuracy, transparency and correct business ethics. By doing this, we lay the foundation of a mutually beneficial long-term relationship
The Times Require A Company That Knows Re-Sale and Recycling
An innovative WBE, Women Owned Business Enterprise, Unicom Asset Recovery, LLC. has now managed to bring all of these components together in a systematic approach. “Our strength and focus is to manage the entire process for you, which means re-use and recycling in the truest sense of the word.” Says Unicom’s Director of New Business Development Mark Penn. “In the context of value recovery and environmental impact, this transformation of specific disposition fractions into resale and specialized recycling, recovers top dollar for your viable equipment or scrap and forms a crucial and an integral circle in the recycling chain.”

Here is a Flow Chart That Explains the Process

e-Waste
In today's industrial society, the use of electronic equipment has increased tremendously. While production levels have been growing steadily, the life-cycle of many devices is decreasing. Naturally, this process leads to ever-growing volumes of 'e-scrap'.
E-waste has become a burden on all countries and large to medium companies. The United Nations has begun initiatives and many countries have begun to enact laws that are governing the disposal process. The asset management and disposition process is still one that is very fragmented in the e-waste arena. It takes a lot to manage and maximize your return, let alone in an environmentally conscious way. Exchange carriers, wireless carriers, service providers, and manufacturers can be one of the largest contributors to e-waste, but so can large and medium sized businesses. How can your company address this concern and maximize your return on assets?
The re-use and recycling chain for electronic scrap consists of various steps – Inventorying, assessment, collection, logistics, reselling, electronic component recovery, dismantling, shredding/pre-processing, and end-processing of the various materials and metals. Each of these requires experienced specialists with dedicated technologies.Unicom handles the entire process and ensures environmentally proper disposal and provides certificates of destruction when necessary.

Wireless Carriers and Telecom Companies Physical Inventories, site pick ups or de-installs possibly at No Upfront Cost to You!
Unfortunately, keeping an accurate network equipment inventory takes a level of process discipline that, to Unicom's knowledge, no service provider has been able to attain. Technicians make many untracked changes just to keep the network operating in response to problems, or to demands for rapid new service. As a result, most inventory systems poorly reflect the actual state of the service provider network or warehouses.
In providing data collections services for a Rural Suburban Area (RSA) (BTA), Metropolitan Suburban Area (MSA) (MTA), or a national rollout project, we can complete all cell sites, switches, warehouses, third party warehouses, and cell depots. This allows your staff resources to be allocated and utilized for other business functions that are needed within your revenue-generating infrastructure. We know that the carriers focus is to get new revenue generating sites and upgrades provisioned.
Many times the inventory of de-installed or surplus equipment is located in different warehouses throughout the country or even within the sites without a full grasp of what is there. We have seen many markets that lease warehouse space on a monthly basis just to let de-installed equipment sit there at an additional monthly expense. Consolidating warehouses and liquidating this equipment many times can cut this expense. This creates an immediate impact on the bottom line.
Since the focus of the carrier is to generate new revenue many times millions of dollars in capital remain tied up in the warehouse with no way to recover the capital due to the intentional focus of priorities. Sometimes the equipment remains at the site because the carrier falsely believes it would cost to much just to remove it. As inventories sit while new site upgrades or implementations are completed the value of the de-installed equipment is depreciating. In today's marketplace of rapidly expanding technological advances it is vital to recover capital from this inventory as soon as possible. Millions can be lost in a matter of months as more and more carriers are de-installing the same equipment and increasing the supply of the equipment in the marketplace as the number of potential buyers decreases.
We work strategically with our clients to maximize value and minimize transaction time in every assignment.
Because our focus is in the wireless industry we have first hand knowledge of the equipment being de-installed and the markets around the world that use this equipment.
Our process for asset marketing maximizes your return by locating buyers with a strategic interest in your assets. We leverage our network of relationships with senior technology executives throughout the U.S. and the world. We also utilize vast vendor relationships for asset co-marketing for re-sale.
We represent wireless carriers and telecommunications companies throughout the world who are interested in acquiring infrastructure assets. We have worked closely with many of the industry's largest players to locate and acquire strategic assets. Our area of concentration is specialized wireless infrastructure, including MSC's, BSC's, BTS's, power, microwave, other transport, and surplus ancillary equipment.
We will evaluate the best way to liquidate your equipment for the highest return in the shortest amount of time. We also have an in house scrap recovery division dedicated to maximize return from high value components and metals from circuit boards guaranteeing a higher return than the local scrap yard. Certificates of destruction are offered on a serialized basis.
Minimum capital return amounts based on net book value or current market considerations can be set by you to insure integrity.
We will also work with you to determine if you would like to do the de-install yourself or allow us to arrange for de-installation of the equipment as they are targeted for complete cut over.
With limited resources it is important for you to concentrate on your core business and allow us to concentrate on ours. We can maximize your capital return, returning millions in capital to your operation in the shortest amount of time all without additional resources or cost from you.
